Ford Mondeo Is On Sale In Russia!

Ford is starting the 2011 models of the Mondeo in Russia next month. Ford has updated the Mondeo, the production in Russia started in 2002. The manufacturing plant that is located in St. Petersburg, Russia, is able to produce 125,000 units per year. This plant has produced the Mondeo and the Focus since 2002. Hopefully, they sell so many units at dealers in Russia like they plan to at Ford Dealers in the United States. Keep Ford moving strong.

The Mondeo has some power under the hood. Ford has plans of either the 240 horsepower Ecoboost gasoline engine or the 200 horsepower 2.2L diesel TDCi engine. It is said that the new Mondeo will go on sale in Russia at the end of October 2010. Expected sales price is somewhere around $23,ooo, that is about the average median price of a family sedan. Ford's diesel engine is in strong competition with Peoria Volkswagen diesels. Volkswagen does have a strong footprint hold on diesel makes.

The global part of Ford anticipates sales from the Mondeo, what the amount is, is uncertain. Depending on sales over there, could result in a third shift addition to the factory. The plant is ready to produce the 2011 Focus when called upon. The Ford Focus is just circulating the world.
