Ford Cares About Breast Cancer!

Were you aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?  As Fall is changing our weather, Americans are going to see an increase of little pink ribbons all over everywhere.  Car dealerships like Honda Dealers Albany NY will usually participate in some kind of event.  One of the biggest campaigns we have seen comes from Ford Motor Company, which isn't surprising given their track record for social awareness and community giving.  If Philadelphia Suzuki Dealerships and other auto brands used their resources as much as Ford does, this world would be a far better place.

Many auto brands like Greensburg Kia Dealers are aware of how useful social marketing tools can be for their business.  Kia recently used the Facebook game "Farmville" to help promote their new Kia Soul vehicle.  Now, Ford is doing their part to help join the fight against breast cancer and is advertising their efforts on the popular social media site Facebook.  You can subscribe to the page and help recruit your friends to support the cause.  Ford Motor Company has done several community service projects throughout their lifespan.

For the past 16 years, Ford has been a sponsor for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure campaign against breast cancer.  In that time, they have given more than $105 million towards fighting breast caner.  This year's campaign features the theme "Warriors in Pink," and Ford is marketing tons of gear and accessories for people to wear during their breast cancer events this month.  Visiting their website, FordCares, allows you to purchase Ford Warriors in Pink gear, such as bandanas, keychains, coffee cups, shirts, and a stamping kit so you can create your own apparel with the logo and emblems.  One therapeutic feature that many users will love is the Virtual Quilt, where participants can tell their portion of the breast cancer story.  This quilt is full of inspiring messages and can be viewed by anyone.  Kudos to Ford!
