Ford and other Domestic Brands Do Well In Latest Study;

Ford ranked the highest it ever has in the 13 years of a vehicle opinion study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates. GM also did well with several of its Chevy models that can be test driven at an Indiana Chevrolet Dealer ranking highly in the study. Ford and GM took some of the top spots for market segments that have never before been taken by either manufacturer due to foreign competitors dominating the studies over the past decade. Peoria VW sells Volkswagen models that also ranked very highly in the study for many segments.

Ford models that are used can be purchased at a Used Cars New Haven lot. Ford won five segment awards, more than any other brand, for the study that took into account customer satisfaction with vehicle design, performance, and features. The result of Ford's strong performance is not surprising.

Ford has made a major comeback in 2009 and 2010 with their latest models being some of the highest quality and reliable models that the company has ever produced. Ford has won several other awards for their production and the latest segment awards are signs that Ford's market shares are going to continue to improve.

Ford ranked highly in the study for the second year in a row, and it was the highest ranked non-luxury brand in initial quality in another recent study. Ford is showing that it can build defect free cars and other vehicles while giving customers a very satisfying and unique experience.

The study's findings may boost consumer confidence in the brand, and we will see if there is an increase in sales that follow the results. Although Ford has done well in the United States and Europe, overall markets have declined throughout both economies. Ford also has large markets in Brazil and China that are also growing.

Ford's best features include MyFordTouch touchscreen technology and entertainment, connectivity technology, massaging seats, ambient lighting, and some of the best sound quality. These features along with the top technology features of the brand add to vehicle comfort and the overall customer experience.

Ford Awarded "Business Turnaround of the Year"

At the 2010 American Business Awards, Ford won the award for "Business Turnaround of the Year for Companies with More Than 2,500 Employees." The awards were held last Monday at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Ford is being commended for its business progress, and for Ford Specials that have contributed to increased sales for 2009. The awards are held annually and several thousands of businesses such as Coastal Pawn Shop apply for the awards which are given out in 40 categories.

The award recognized the progress that Ford made in 2009. Ford has done well in spite of recession problems throughout the world's economies for 2009. Ford improved by an astounding $17.5 billion in sales compared to 2008, and had its first year of positive net income since 2005.

Other accomplishments include increasing their market share for the first time in 14 years. There were over 2,700 entries to the awards and over 200 judges were involved in deciding the winner. The judges are select executives from around the United States. There are 40 categories of awards and some of the categories include customer service, information technology, human resources, sales, and several others.

The award is called a "Stevie" and the awards have been held annually since 2002. The purpose of the awards is to recognize business progress and commend those businesses that have proven themselves as standouts in different areas and for those such as Ford that have made progress despite difficult odds.

Ford was the only one out of the Big Three that did not declare bankruptcy in 2009. Ford has made extensive efforts to improve their product offerings and they have paid off. Another recent award from Ford was becoming the top non-luxury automaker with the fewest initial vehicle defects for 2009. Ford has made many improvements over 2009 and hopes to continue their progress with several new models that are fuel efficient, hybrid, and highly anticipated.
