2011 MKZ Hybrid Makes History with Pricing!

The 2011 MKZ Hybrid will be one of the most historic models with its pricing. The premium MKZ Hybrid model will be available for the same cost as the regular Lincoln model which starts at $35,180. This is exciting news for Lincoln and Ford fans, and both Lincoln and Ford models can be found at Cincinnati Used Cars dealers. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will be a competitor to models like the Chevy Volt and the Toyota Prius which can be found at Los Angeles Toyota Dealers.

There are a number of other automakers that are looking to enter the hybrid market soon but have been late in introducing their own models. Automakers like Volkswagen whose models can be purchased at a discount during Volkswagen Deals are looking to release their own hybrids over the next few years to take their own shares of the rapidly increasing hybrid market. The Volkswagen Jetta hybrid will be one of the first VW hybrid models and it will be offered in 2011.

The MKZ Hybrid will be the first hybrid automobile that will be priced exactly the same as its regular gasoline engine counterpart. One would have to question the judgment of a person who would buy the regular gasoline version over the hybrid version, especially considering the fact that the MKZ Hybrid is currently the most fuel efficient luxury sedan model.

It is interesting to wonder how exactly Ford priced its MKZ Hybrid model the exact same as its gasoline counterpart. It features the latest in technology. The next best luxury model in terms of fuel efficiency is the Lexus HS 250h model which is a top of the line luxury hybrid model but does not have as good of a fuel efficiency or as much room as the MKZ Hybrid. The MKZ Hybrid will go on sale later this year.

2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is the Latest in Luxury Auto Technology;

Ford announced last week that the 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid was certified by the EPA as being the most fuel efficient luxury sedan in the United States. Although some older Used Fords have not been introduced with the latest green technology, GM models such as the Chevy Volt which will be sold later this year, will be strong competitors to Ford's upcoming hybrids. Be sure to check out Jersey Chevy Specials for discounted prices on new and used Chevy models.

Most of Ford's new and upcoming models feature some type of fuel efficiency or alternative fuel technology. Ford's new models will have the latest developments from their fuel efficient technology research labs that they recently devoted $1 billion to. Ford's new technology includes but is not limited to the EcoBoost powertrain and the latest hybrid technology.

The 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is Ford's latest development in fuel efficient technology. The MKZ Hybrid is capable of 41 miles per gallon on the highway and 36 miles per gallon in the city. The next most fuel efficient model is the 2011 Lexus HS 250h which is 6 mph less efficient than the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The MKZ Hybrid also has space for one more passengar than the Lexus HS. The 2011 MKZ Hybrid is capable of reaching speeds of up to 47 mph on its electric motor alone. The car also features the latest in safety and luxury offerings from Ford.

Ford's 2.5 liter Atkinson-cycle I-4 engine is the major reason why the new Lincoln has performed so well with fuel efficiency. The engine was named in Ward's "10 Best Engines" and features the latest gasoline/electric hybrid technology. The engine is not only impressive for its fuel efficiency but its power. The hybrid is capable of 191 combined horsepower which is among the highest horsepower for hybrid engines available.
