Ford Work Solutions!

For those people who have been loyal Ford fans, they are about to be rewarded!  Ford Motor Company has introduced their "Ford Work Solutions" optional technology features for their trucks and vans.  This may persuade people who would buy a truck from Chevrolet Wichita to visit their local Ford dealership instead.  People who use their trucks for work and to run their businesses can really benefit from Ford Work Solutions.  The technologies are primarily aimed at construction workers, but those who are visiting Chevrolet Orlando for a truck are likely going to use it for tough jobs anyhow. 

The best feature is the In-Dash Computer, and even people who drive little cars from Acura Trenton are going to wish this was an option for their car.  The technology in cars and SUVs is getting more advanced on a daily basis, and many come with in-dash navigation, Bluetooth, a hard-drive for media storage, and some kind of entertainment for the backseat passengers.  Ford has installed a 4GB Microsoft computer with a 6.5" color screen, wireless keyboard, USB port, and SD card slot.  This allows you to access lots of documents from your truck's built in computer, access the computers back in the office remotely, and print on the job site with a Bluetooth printer. 

Another smart feature that construction workers must have is DeWalt's Tool Link.  All you have to do is tag all of your gear with radio frequency tags and you are good to go.  The system will scan to make sure you have all the tools you need and that you haven't forgotten any items on the job site or at home.  Crew Chief is perfect for employers who manage a fleet of vehicles.  You can track the maintenance logs for the whole fleet, keep tabs on the current location via GPS, and send out updated communications with the drivers.  The last option is Cable Lock, which is a super strong 10 foot long braided steel cable wrapped in vinyl.  Now you can secure all your big tools in the bed of your pickup truck!
