Stealth PI From Ford!

You might not have known it but Ford takes their inspiration for their Police Interceptor vehicles from an SR-71 Blackbird aircraft.  Sometimes you can find an older police car at Cheap Used Cars in Millville NJ, and they make quite comfortable cars with smooth suspensions.  At the highly publicized SEMA auto show in Las Vegas this year, Ford brought along their new Stealth Police Interceptor.  It will be safer than the cars from Naples Volvo, and some people who have seen the Stealth Police Interceptor thinks it is one of the most handsome cars Ford has produced.  This will likely pose some competition for fleet orders at Canton Chevrolet Dealers, as both Ford and Chevrolet have a good chunk of their sales in fleet vehicle sales.

The Stealth is competing with Dodge’s new Charger police vehicle, and it isn’t near as eye-catching as the nostalgic Charger.  The Stealth is based on the Ford Taurus platform but steps up the “wow” factor by adding 22-inch wheels and lowering the body height by one inch.  When you look at the Stealth, you see a powerful and intimidating all-black car that might remind you of the bad guy’s car in old movies.  The large spoiler means business, as does the black mesh grille, ultra dark tinted windows, and smoked taillights.

Drivers passing by won’t be able to see if they are being clocked by radar guns; the tint is too dark.  The attractive appeal of the Stealth camouflages it compared to other police cars; that is, until you see the red and blue lights start flashing.  The interior is just like any other stock Taurus.  There are some secret compartments inside for concealed weapon storage and all of the police equipment can be safely stowed away under Taurus interior design pieces.  Drivers can consider themselves warned to look out for the new Stealth Police Interceptor from Ford.
