Ford Ranger Needs Some Fixin'

In the world of compact trucks, the choices are dwindling at VA Ford Dealers.  While they still will continue their full size F-150 and their Heavy Duty series, 2010 will be the last year that they manufacture the Ford Ranger.  Despite the popularity of the Ranger from GA Ford Dealers in the past, Ford might bring back a compact truck in a couple years.  They will continue to produce the smaller truck in other regions of the world but want to focus their efforts on making their F-150 more fuel efficient and appealing to a wider range of shoppers.  You will still be able to find the Ranger at Car Dealership Waldorf in older models at a great price.

According to the experts at J.D. Power and Associates, the 2010 Ford Ranger received an excellent score in terms of reliability.  J.D. Power conducts research of vehicles for three years’ worth of surveys from current owners and compiles all the research about how reliable a particular model is.  This should be comforting to current Ford Ranger owners who might have been concerned that Ford is discontinuing the model.  Other high points about the 2010 Ford Ranger is that its pricing is more than fair compared to the competition within the class and there are few mechanical problems so the total cost of ownership is very affordable.

If Ford ever decides to bring back their compact truck, there are a few things they will need to improve upon.  The Ford Ranger has not been updated in several years, and many shoppers think that the Ford Ranger is in desperate need of an upgrade.  Many of the other compact trucks on the market feature stylish curvy shapes while the Ranger remains quite boxy and plain.  Also, the interior can use some updating to reflect a more modern style.  A lot of the upgrades we see in the Ford F-150 would be well appreciated in the future models of the Ford Ranger.
