Ford Has Your Heart On Their Mind!

Ford announced that they developed a seat that can monitor your heart. Early detection has always been pounded into everyone's head, so Ford took that initiative and ran with it. They have embedded six sensors that do not penetrate the skin but detects electrical impulses from the heart. This was developed by the Ford team in Ford European Research and Innovation Center located in Aachen Germany. Ford has stated that it can envision the ever anticipated "remote medical services" that provide the imminent "cardiovascular issues such as a heart attack". This is to help with any signs that the driver might not even be aware of, but with early detection, it can save many different horrid outcomes. It almost can be compared to that of a service dog for someone that has epileptic seizures, the dog can detect them quicker than the human. So, with the animal being able to give notice, could eliminate or even just reduce the side effects of such things.

The use of driver's awareness is not the forefront of everyone's top issues but it is with Ford. The Blue Oval believes in safety and knows keeping another eye on the driver is one step into saving lives one at a time. The people at Ohio Ford or Reading Ford, could not agree more, this is going to change things. It could even prevent an accident from happening, if such driver does have a heart attack. Ford is not done with talking about monitoring the driver for health issues. Ford has expressed a monitoring system through the Sync that could assist you with Asthma or Diabetes. Technology that can monitor the breathing or your sugar/insulin levels.

All this good news for the people that have health conditions that they feel sometimes jump in the way of everyday life. Ford has yet to master the exact product and says there is still a lot of work to be done. This type of system will not be found right away at Bradenton Collision Center. They stated that 90 to 95% of testers were compatible with the system. So, their system was able to monitor the consumer's pulse with noting it was 98% of the time accurate when the driver was behind the wheel of the vehicle. This is where innovation meets needs of everyday consumers just trying to live normal lives. Ford taking one step at a time assisting the ones they value the most....the consumers.

Ford designers take simple approach;

Ford's engineers have been designing the interiors on the newest Ford models sold at Ford Dealer Huntsville with a more simplistic approach. Using the SYNC system, Ford designers have set up interiors to have as few buttons as possible to avoid driver distraction and complication. Ford's latest models with SYNC technology can be purchased from a Ford Dealership Richmond. Ford has taken cues from other industries like the construction and interior design industry to help it design its interiors. Ford is seeing that a minimalistic approach works best for its interiors, and Ford's latest vehicles that demonstrate this can be seen at a Cedartown Ford Dealer.

Voice commands have allowed Ford to reduce the need for a number of buttons. In-vehicle connectivity and entertainment features means that designers have to design models very carefully. There are a number of driver distractions that have to be taken into account every time a new feature is added to a vehicle. Many drivers want more safety on their vehicles even though they have the latest features. They also want less cost and complexity with their vehicles. Ford has been able to upgrade or evolve vehicle technology. At one point having a 6 CD changer was a must for a new car, but Ford has removed the need for this by added USB connectivity and hard drives to its vehicles.

There are also SD cards that are used to store navigation data rather than navigation hard drives which reduces the amount of interior space taken. Ford has also added other features to its interiors like Bluetooth audio streaming and satellite radio both of which can be accessed with voice alone. SYNC has been installed on over 3 million vehicles and was launched in the fall of 2007. SYNC comes with these voice command features and includes features like 911 Assist, Vehicle Health Report, and a number of other features.

Ford's Famous F-150.

Sometimes automakers really do listen to consumers. In the case of Ford, particularly with its crowd pleasing F-150 pick-up truck, Ford not only is listening, but delivering. What am I talking about? A hot-rod pick-up truck, that’s what. That’s right, Ford is going ahead with plans to market a truly “boss” version of its perennially best selling truck, the F-150 of Cincinnati Ford, to give many fans just what they have wanted. Read on for a sneak preview of Ford’s soon to be released FX2, a dream-come-true for avid Ford lovers. You can also find other Ford's at places like Ford Dealer Cincinnati.

With gas prices approaching record levels, some are questioning Ford’s decision to release yet another version of its highly popular full sized pick-up truck, the F-150. Yet, demand for big trucks and SUVs continues to remain strong suggesting that size really does matter for many consumers. True, a smaller truck can be adequate for some motorists however most contractors require the large carrying capacity of the F-150 thus the continued high demand of these types of trucks. Plus, serious pick-up truck drivers will tell you that there is nothing that matches the abundant capacity of an eight foot bed in carrying everything from lumber to yard debris to sport gear and more. A helpful tip would be to take your car to Auto Body Repairs Bradenton for your service check ups.

As it is with many truck owners, function is one thing while styling is but another. Base versions of the F-150 are attractive and capable enough, but sport concepts have continued to create so much buzz that Ford is responding to consumer demand by building the FX2. Specifically, the new model is in response to the overwhelmingly positive buzz a concept version has been receiving at auto shows everywhere.

So, what separates the FX2 from the average F-150? Plenty, including the following features as shared by Ford in a recent press release announcing the new model:

-- a dark billet grille

-- a sporty, deep front valance

-- clear headlights paired with platinum bezels

-- monochromatic paint scheme that blends in the bumper, side mirrors, and door handles with the rest of the truck

-- chrome exhaust tip

-- 18 inch wheels

-- black captain chairs with red stitching, available in clothe or in leather

-- flow-through center console with floor shifter

Engine choices haven’t been announced, but Ford has said that its popular 5.4L V8 will be offered. The FX2, a two wheel drive vehicle, will complement an existing off road model, the FX4. Ford builds more versions of its full sized pick up truck than any other manufacturer in the world.

Yes, the FX2 is another part of Ford’s “Bold Moves” promotional campaign. While the new model is based on an existing truck, it does something that Ford is finally learning to do right: listen to its consumers. With the 2007 F-150 FX2, it appears that Ford has responded with certainty.

Ford Edge Fits Everyone's Needs

There have been some much needed improvements to several of the Cincinnati Ford vehicles for the 2011 model year.  One that really stands out as a gem now is the 2011 Ford Edge midsize crossover.  You will really want to think about using Bad Credit Car Loans CT so that you can park one of these attractive crossovers in your driveway as soon as possible.  The Edge is popular with a wide array of drivers, and the fact that it comes in four different trim levels with plenty of options might be the reason for that.  You can test drive one at Texas Ford Dealers or any Ford dealership near you.

The four trim levels of the 2011 Ford Edge midsize crossover include SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport.  If you opt for the base SE trim, you will get a beautiful SUV sitting atop 17-inch alloy wheels.  Inside you will find a CD player with auxiliary jack, full power accessories, and a steering wheel that tilts and telescopes.  Upgrading to the SEL is a popular choice among consumers because you are upgraded to 18-inch wheels, a higher quality cloth upholstery, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, and the ability to fold the second row seat from the trunk with the seat release handle. Many of the options for the Ford Edge can even go to the lower trim levels as well as the more expensive two.

The Sport and Limited are very similar in terms of standard features, but the Sport gives you a sport-tuned suspension as well as paddle shifters on the steering wheel.  The Limited trim level gives you tons of features, but there are always additional options that you can add-on.  Standard features include leather upholstery, MyFord Touch controls with Ford Sync, power front seats, 10-way adjust on the driver’s seat, two USB ports, an upgraded Sony stereo system, rearview camera, and the added comfort of ambient lighting.

Taurus Keeps You Safe In Slick Driving!

The cars from New Orleans Chevrolet Dealers have been earning their fair share of safety awards, but we are pleased to announce that other auto brands are keeping up their end of the safety bargain. Drivers need to remind themselves about the dangerous road conditions that winter brings, and luckily, many of the cars at Richmond Ford have great safety reputations. One key feature you should look for when choosing a car for winter driving is all-wheel drive. When you find yourself going around an icy corner, you will want to make sure that all four wheels are going to stay on the pavement where they belong. We want to focus on the 2011 Taurus from Ford Dealer Philadelphia; a family friendly sedan with additional safety technology.

The 2011 Taurus comes in four different trim levels; SE, SEL, Limited, and SHO. The SE starts out at $25,170, the SEL is only a bit more at $27,370, the Limited is affordable at $31,770, and lastly the SHO rings in with a price tag of $37,770. The fuel mileage hovers around 18 mpg around town and 25 mpg on the highway for all the trim levels, but remember that those numbers will vary depending on your driving habits.  Other popular cars that you might want to consider if you are wanting all-wheel drive include the entire Subaru line up, the Volvo S60, the Buick LaCrosse, and even the attractive and luxurious Infiniti G37.

When it comes to safety, the Taurus is impressive. All models come standard with electronic stability control, which will soon be required when 2012 safety regulations go into effect. All-wheel drive gives added levels of traction to your vehicle, and comes as a standard feature on the 2011 Taurus SHO. You can opt for all-wheel drive on the SEL and Limited Taurus trim levels, and if you live in a winter climate zone, you will want to strongly consider spending the extra money. Additional safety features that Ford has put on their 2011 Taurus line up include airbags, seat belt reminders for the front seats, improved cabin strength and architecture, as well as the option of a rear view camera.

Stealth PI From Ford!

You might not have known it but Ford takes their inspiration for their Police Interceptor vehicles from an SR-71 Blackbird aircraft.  Sometimes you can find an older police car at Cheap Used Cars in Millville NJ, and they make quite comfortable cars with smooth suspensions.  At the highly publicized SEMA auto show in Las Vegas this year, Ford brought along their new Stealth Police Interceptor.  It will be safer than the cars from Naples Volvo, and some people who have seen the Stealth Police Interceptor thinks it is one of the most handsome cars Ford has produced.  This will likely pose some competition for fleet orders at Canton Chevrolet Dealers, as both Ford and Chevrolet have a good chunk of their sales in fleet vehicle sales.

The Stealth is competing with Dodge’s new Charger police vehicle, and it isn’t near as eye-catching as the nostalgic Charger.  The Stealth is based on the Ford Taurus platform but steps up the “wow” factor by adding 22-inch wheels and lowering the body height by one inch.  When you look at the Stealth, you see a powerful and intimidating all-black car that might remind you of the bad guy’s car in old movies.  The large spoiler means business, as does the black mesh grille, ultra dark tinted windows, and smoked taillights.

Drivers passing by won’t be able to see if they are being clocked by radar guns; the tint is too dark.  The attractive appeal of the Stealth camouflages it compared to other police cars; that is, until you see the red and blue lights start flashing.  The interior is just like any other stock Taurus.  There are some secret compartments inside for concealed weapon storage and all of the police equipment can be safely stowed away under Taurus interior design pieces.  Drivers can consider themselves warned to look out for the new Stealth Police Interceptor from Ford.

The Blue Oval Teaming Up With Geek Squad!

Ford shows that with their new concepts and innovations, it does impact other business and the environment. Best Buy with their Geek Squad and Ford with their Transits will go hand in hand. Bests Buy has a mission of building an entire fleet of fuel efficient vehicles. With that being said, Ford Transit Connect is the perfect fit for the Geek Squad and its routine maintenance appointments. Best Buy says they will be adding 290 Ford Transits to their Geek Squad fleet and 738 Ford E-Series with the 4.6L instead of the V8's. The cargo vans are needed for the bulky equipment like that of home theater pieces. All of this helps Best Buy assist the needs of their customers that tend to like the services they receive. Any Ford Dealer can present the full Transit Connect profile to show the options. Peoria VW has the German Engineering but it does not have what the Transit has.

One of the biggest reasons Best Buy sought out the Ford Transit is because of the versatility of the vehicle itself. Its cargo room and utility space adds function and organization for the technician to get in and out quickly. It also enables Best Buy to reorganize their "routing system" to have certain technicians in their own area. Thus including more efficiency with tools and parts in the vehicles entailing Best Buy to save thousands of dollars. Ford Transit has functionality providing the technician to work the same in a smaller more fuel efficient vehicle. Cincinnati Ford has stepped to the plate when rolling out this multi-functional business vehicle. It can be custom made, logos all over the outside and innovation to inspire any business personnel. Just thumbing through some of the ideas already out there and some that are to come, makes this vehicle priceless to any business.

Best Buy still needed vehicles that can transport anything else their loyal consumers purchase and need delivered to the house. Yes, gentlemen, they needed cargo room for your 65" LED LCD HDTV. Now its better because of technology improvements to the weight of the televisions but they still need space to transport that monstrous thing to you guys, so you can be the best on the block. The one that has the "biggest", television that is, has the best parties. This is why Best Buy added 738 E-Series Cargo Vans, to deliver all the goodies for the guys that want the best, or for the ladies that know if they purchase it for their guys they will receive ever so much in the end. Pittsburgh GMC and Sarasota Chevy have alot of work to do to catch up with Ford.

Ford making innovations to move forward while helping businesses improve costs and deliver goods to their consumers. Best Buy will attach their logo and brand all the new vehicles that has been added to the fleet. The relationship has started.

Ford Work Solutions!

For those people who have been loyal Ford fans, they are about to be rewarded!  Ford Motor Company has introduced their "Ford Work Solutions" optional technology features for their trucks and vans.  This may persuade people who would buy a truck from Chevrolet Wichita to visit their local Ford dealership instead.  People who use their trucks for work and to run their businesses can really benefit from Ford Work Solutions.  The technologies are primarily aimed at construction workers, but those who are visiting Chevrolet Orlando for a truck are likely going to use it for tough jobs anyhow.

The best feature is the In-Dash Computer, and even people who drive little cars from Acura Trenton are going to wish this was an option for their car.  The technology in cars and SUVs is getting more advanced on a daily basis, and many come with in-dash navigation, Bluetooth, a hard-drive for media storage, and some kind of entertainment for the backseat passengers.  Ford has installed a 4GB Microsoft computer with a 6.5" color screen, wireless keyboard, USB port, and SD card slot.  This allows you to access lots of documents from your truck's built in computer, access the computers back in the office remotely, and print on the job site with a Bluetooth printer.

Another smart feature that construction workers must have is DeWalt's Tool Link.  All you have to do is tag all of your gear with radio frequency tags and you are good to go.  The system will scan to make sure you have all the tools you need and that you haven't forgotten any items on the job site or at home.  Crew Chief is perfect for employers who manage a fleet of vehicles.  You can track the maintenance logs for the whole fleet, keep tabs on the current location via GPS, and send out updated communications with the drivers.  The last option is Cable Lock, which is a super strong 10 foot long braided steel cable wrapped in vinyl.  Now you can secure all your big tools in the bed of your pickup truck!

Ford Wants to Downsize to 3,000 Dealers.

What goes up must come down.  That statement holds true to so many things in life, and now it may be the case for Pittsburgh Ford and other Ford Motor Company dealerships across the nation.  Currently, there are 3,338 Ford Motor Company dealerships across the country.  Their goal is to trim off the excess so that there are only 3,000.  That is a lot of businesses that will be lost and employees suddenly unemployed.  Perhaps Yuma Nissan is hiring?

As of right now, there are 261 dealerships that sell only Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.  That number is part of Ford's total dealerships as they are all under the Ford Motor Company umbrella.  The Mercury brand has been hanging on as long as possible but with increasing competition from import brands like Reading Kia and the fact that other people are offering better and more affordable luxury than Mercury, they just can't stay afloat anymore.  This is the last year for production and the brand is being phased out, finalized by the end of this year.  That means that those 261 Lincoln-Mercury stores will just be Lincoln stores.

Some auto experts estimate that those Lincoln Mercury stores depend on the Mercury brand to supply about 40-60% of the total income.  Without those extra cars on the lot, many of the dealerships won't be able to survive.  Ford has suggested repeatedly that Lincoln consolidate their businesses with the nearest Ford dealership.  However, there are also rumors swirling that the Lincoln brand name might also be on the chopping block.  Ford Motor Company will make a final decision and announce it on October 4 at the Dearborn headquarters.  While the whole process has meant to be positive and Ford has been helping Lincoln owners along the way, this process is still frustrating for the dealership owners.  They recently renovated their machine shops to handle the repairs for the new car technology, and now they are being asked to close their doors.

Ford 250 PS Focus ST: 2012 Arrival

American auto maker Ford is setting themselves up to be global auto leaders.  Their Ford SYNC Technology can be found on the cars at San Diego Ford, and the infotainment system has set standards across the auto industry.  Just as Chattanooga Nissan is putting in-dash navigation systems in their vehicles, Ford has already upped the ante and released new technology.  While the My Touch feature isn't available in all models yet, the SYNC technology is a standard feature while other brands charge a pretty penny for the system.

The latest news from Ford has to do with their Ford Focus model choices.  Sacramento Nissan offers some great cars for people who are interested in a smaller and economical car, but the Focus has won the hearts of many drivers.  Now, it is being promised as being faster, more fun to drive, better fuel economy, and improved technology.  All of this great stuff will be available in early 2012, all wrapped up in the 2012 250 PS Focus ST.  Ford Motor Company has been working hard to become a global household name, and they hope that their Focus can make that possible.

At the upcoming Paris Auto Show, Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally along with Ford of Europe CEO Stephen Odell will reveal the design of the new car.  Additionally, the car will be presented in its sporty five door hatchback version, the sedan style four door, as well as the family friendly and functional wagon.  Ford has created a vehicle platform for the Focus that has 80% of its parts coming from across the globe.  This will help keep the Focus an affordable option for consumers.  Plus, the platform will also be used for ten other cars worldwide.  This auto show will be a huge step towards Ford's goal of becoming a truly global company.

Ford Mondeo Is On Sale In Russia!

Ford is starting the 2011 models of the Mondeo in Russia next month. Ford has updated the Mondeo, the production in Russia started in 2002. The manufacturing plant that is located in St. Petersburg, Russia, is able to produce 125,000 units per year. This plant has produced the Mondeo and the Focus since 2002. Hopefully, they sell so many units at dealers in Russia like they plan to at Ford Dealers in the United States. Keep Ford moving strong.

The Mondeo has some power under the hood. Ford has plans of either the 240 horsepower Ecoboost gasoline engine or the 200 horsepower 2.2L diesel TDCi engine. It is said that the new Mondeo will go on sale in Russia at the end of October 2010. Expected sales price is somewhere around $23,ooo, that is about the average median price of a family sedan. Ford's diesel engine is in strong competition with Peoria Volkswagen diesels. Volkswagen does have a strong footprint hold on diesel makes.

The global part of Ford anticipates sales from the Mondeo, what the amount is, is uncertain. Depending on sales over there, could result in a third shift addition to the factory. The plant is ready to produce the 2011 Focus when called upon. The Ford Focus is just circulating the world. The newer designed Focus that Ford does plan to produce is an eye catcher for a smaller car. It has character and style, making the compact car fun to drive. Either way, Ford is stamping on every continent planting the Blue Oval everywhere.
