Ford designers take simple approach;

Ford's engineers have been designing the interiors on the newest Ford models sold at Ford Dealer Huntsville with a more simplistic approach. Using the SYNC system, Ford designers have set up interiors to have as few buttons as possible to avoid driver distraction and complication. Ford's latest models with SYNC technology can be purchased from a Ford Dealership Richmond. Ford has taken cues from other industries like the construction and interior design industry to help it design its interiors. Ford is seeing that a minimalistic approach works best for its interiors, and Ford's latest vehicles that demonstrate this can be seen at a Cedartown Ford Dealer.

Voice commands have allowed Ford to reduce the need for a number of buttons. In-vehicle connectivity and entertainment features means that designers have to design models very carefully. There are a number of driver distractions that have to be taken into account every time a new feature is added to a vehicle. Many drivers want more safety on their vehicles even though they have the latest features. They also want less cost and complexity with their vehicles. Ford has been able to upgrade or evolve vehicle technology. At one point having a 6 CD changer was a must for a new car, but Ford has removed the need for this by added USB connectivity and hard drives to its vehicles.

There are also SD cards that are used to store navigation data rather than navigation hard drives which reduces the amount of interior space taken. Ford has also added other features to its interiors like Bluetooth audio streaming and satellite radio both of which can be accessed with voice alone. SYNC has been installed on over 3 million vehicles and was launched in the fall of 2007. SYNC comes with these voice command features and includes features like 911 Assist, Vehicle Health Report, and a number of other features.

Ford teaches drivers how to be more green;

Ford has been implementing several different steps to teach drivers how to improve their driving habits and save money at the pump while making the environment cleaner. Ford's latest models which can be found at a Ford Dealership Horhsam have a number of fuel saving technologies and features that have set them apart from competitors. For the last 5-6 years, Ford has taken the initiative to produce and research greener engine technology and produced models that have won awards for their fuel economy and engine technology such as the Lincoln MKZ hybrid and other models. This model and other Ford models can be purchased from Ford Harrisburg dealerships.

Ford has focused more of its production efforts on green technology since 2008, and this technology can be found in models sold at Ford Dealer Avalon. Fuel economy is one of the biggest concerns for customers throughout the world, and in the United States gas prices are rising. Ford has made this a major priority as well, and as a result the company's latest models have been some of its most popular to date. Ford's models have sold well in spite of a rougher economic climate than in the past, and Ford has offered many different driving technologies to help ease the burden of costs at the gas pump.

Fuel economy can be improved through driving techniques that reduce gas waste. EcoMode is a coaching program that teaches drivers how to improve their fuel economy with real time feedback on the instrument LCD panel in some Ford models. Rewards are displayed when the driver engages in fuel saving driving techniques, and there is also a point system that is used. MyFord Touch has a program called EcoRoute which is a navigation system that calculates the most fuel efficient driving route. This technology has shown fuel savings up to 15 percent. There is another feature called SmartGauge which is an instrument cluster for hybrid vehicle owners. This offers feedback and rewards for fuel efficient driving and it shows different information such as fuel levels and battery levels remaining.

Ford Edge Fits Everyone's Needs

There have been some much needed improvements to several of the Cincinnati Ford vehicles for the 2011 model year.  One that really stands out as a gem now is the 2011 Ford Edge midsize crossover.  You will really want to think about using Bad Credit Car Loans CT so that you can park one of these attractive crossovers in your driveway as soon as possible.  The Edge is popular with a wide array of drivers, and the fact that it comes in four different trim levels with plenty of options might be the reason for that.  You can test drive one at Texas Ford Dealers or any Ford dealership near you.

The four trim levels of the 2011 Ford Edge midsize crossover include SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport.  If you opt for the base SE trim, you will get a beautiful SUV sitting atop 17-inch alloy wheels.  Inside you will find a CD player with auxiliary jack, full power accessories, and a steering wheel that tilts and telescopes.  Upgrading to the SEL is a popular choice among consumers because you are upgraded to 18-inch wheels, a higher quality cloth upholstery, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, and the ability to fold the second row seat from the trunk with the seat release handle. Many of the options for the Ford Edge can even go to the lower trim levels as well as the more expensive two.

The Sport and Limited are very similar in terms of standard features, but the Sport gives you a sport-tuned suspension as well as paddle shifters on the steering wheel.  The Limited trim level gives you tons of features, but there are always additional options that you can add-on.  Standard features include leather upholstery, MyFord Touch controls with Ford Sync, power front seats, 10-way adjust on the driver’s seat, two USB ports, an upgraded Sony stereo system, rearview camera, and the added comfort of ambient lighting.

Ford Work Solutions!

For those people who have been loyal Ford fans, they are about to be rewarded!  Ford Motor Company has introduced their "Ford Work Solutions" optional technology features for their trucks and vans.  This may persuade people who would buy a truck from Chevrolet Wichita to visit their local Ford dealership instead.  People who use their trucks for work and to run their businesses can really benefit from Ford Work Solutions.  The technologies are primarily aimed at construction workers, but those who are visiting Chevrolet Orlando for a truck are likely going to use it for tough jobs anyhow.

The best feature is the In-Dash Computer, and even people who drive little cars from Acura Trenton are going to wish this was an option for their car.  The technology in cars and SUVs is getting more advanced on a daily basis, and many come with in-dash navigation, Bluetooth, a hard-drive for media storage, and some kind of entertainment for the backseat passengers.  Ford has installed a 4GB Microsoft computer with a 6.5" color screen, wireless keyboard, USB port, and SD card slot.  This allows you to access lots of documents from your truck's built in computer, access the computers back in the office remotely, and print on the job site with a Bluetooth printer.

Another smart feature that construction workers must have is DeWalt's Tool Link.  All you have to do is tag all of your gear with radio frequency tags and you are good to go.  The system will scan to make sure you have all the tools you need and that you haven't forgotten any items on the job site or at home.  Crew Chief is perfect for employers who manage a fleet of vehicles.  You can track the maintenance logs for the whole fleet, keep tabs on the current location via GPS, and send out updated communications with the drivers.  The last option is Cable Lock, which is a super strong 10 foot long braided steel cable wrapped in vinyl.  Now you can secure all your big tools in the bed of your pickup truck!

Ford Using Wi-Fi on its Models;

Ford has decided to implement the use of wireless technology on several of its vehicle models. VW Dealer businesses are going to also implement Wi-Fi technology among several others. Ford is adding the latest technology to its vehicles so that it can compete with foreign brands like Honda whose models can be purchased from Bossier City Honda Dealers. Wireless technology is not just being used to connect laptops, but now Wi-Fi is being used to have phone and entertainment features in the Edge and Lincoln MKX crossover models. Other luxury sedans and crossover models can be found at Sarasota Used Chevy Dealer businesses.
Wireless systems are being set up in various vehicles by Ford to target more demographics that have an interest in having technology readily available in their vehicles. Ford will have transmitting software for radio and phone systems in its models. Cars will be set up wirelessly for different options including power-seat preferences, gear shifting preferences on the transmission, and several other features. Ford will implement its latest features in models that are upcoming like its Explorer vehicle model and the Ford Focus compact car.

Ford has changed its goals from offering several types of vehicles to offer more quality over quantity. Its latest vehicles have been rated as being some of the best models ever offered by the company, and Ford is looking to continue to over excellent quality in their vehicle models. Ford is also looking to offer vehicle customization options that can be transmitted wirelessly, with buyers being able to select their own vehicle options on the Ford model that they buy. Buyers may be able to select an "apps" package for their vehicle similar to the apps packages that come with iPhones and Google Android phones. Ford will also be looking to expand its voice activated system to vehicles that it sells around the world and not just domestically.

Ford Technology Offers Safer Driving;

Texting while driving a model purchased during Nissan Frontier Deals is a dangerous activity that is proven to lead to more accidents and higher risks of serious collisions. However, many states have still not banned texting while driving or outright made it illegal. Driving a safe model that is sold at a Peoria Volkswagen dealer does not reduce the likelihood of an accident if one is engaging in unsafe activities like texting while driving a Chevrolet Chattanooga vehicle.

Ford Motor Co. has announced a plan to given drivers some alternatives to texting while driving in order to improve car safety and reduce accidents. The MyFordTouch technology that is being included in many new Ford models has a "Do Not Disturb" feature which allows drivers to block incoming calls or texts. There is also a content lock out feature that will encourage drivers to use voice controls rather than hand based methods of controlling mobile devices.

The new technology is called SYNC technology, and it is designed to reduce problems with drivers who are focusing more on texting or handling mobile devices while driving. Ford drivers can use the Do Not Disturb feature to keep their privacy while driving and allow them to focus on the road. Although many newer drivers have used communications devices like mobile phones to keep in touch with the world, more evidence is coming out about how dangerous it is to use mobile devices while driving, especially texting which requires much of the driver's attention.

Ford, recognizing the link between the popularity of mobile devices and driving has taken proactive steps to ensure that the company's vehicles have the latest safety features that fit well with the lifestyle of many drivers. With the new technology, drivers will be able to have conversations with friends using their mobile devices at the appropriate time.
