Ford May Earn $1.62 Billion In Quarter 2;

Ford may report an adjusted profit of $1.62 billion for the second quarter of 2010. The company's overhaul of many of its lineups has paid off and Ford has returned to profitability much earlier than analysts and even Ford executives has expected. Ford's latest models can be seen at Birmingham Ford Lincoln Mercury Dealers. Some of Ford's best models have been its 2008-2011 models that have turned the tide in several markets for the automaker. Ford is now competing with Arizona VW models for the subcompact market.

Even foreign competitors like Boston Nissan and Toyota have been watching Ford for its latest developments and some are worried that Ford may end up taking leading positions in markets that have been typically dominated by foreign automobiles. Competing automakers are certainly not going to give up their shares easily, and many competitors are putting out models that are just as fuel efficient as Ford's latest models.

Ford is making large strides in these market segments, and Ford's latest profitability is a sure sign that the company is emerging from the red into the black. Ford is selling the 2011 Taurus for $6,300 more than last year's model, but the Taurus is selling well, and buyers are paying $30,000 or more per vehicle and are adding features such as heated seats and other luxury features. Ford is now one of the top automakers in the United States again, and consumers are really enjoying the new features, fuel efficiency, and capabilities of Ford's latest models. Ford topped a vehicle satisfaction survey earlier this year.

Ford Taurus purchasers are adding new features that they did not include in the past. Ford's latest models feature some of the best technology features that can be found on new models. With the latest positive publicity that Ford has been getting, they are now on the rise as being one of the top vehicle makers in the world and hopefully will continue their progress for the next few years.
